Information we process

Project information stored on your device

The App may store room measurements, layouts, component choices, finishes, project names, reference images, settings, and saved projects locally on your device. Local project information is not transmitted to us merely because you create or save a project. It leaves your device only when you choose a feature that requires transmission, such as an AI feature, export or sharing, or when you include it in a support request.

Photos, instructions, and project details used with AI

AI room analysis and realistic image generation are optional. If you choose one of these features, the photos you select, your text instructions, and relevant project details—such as measurements, layout, materials, and project name—are transmitted securely to our service and to the OpenAI API so the requested analysis or image can be created. The resulting output is returned to the App.

Optional accounts, subscriptions, and AI usage

The standard design workspace does not require an app account. Online account features use an authenticated account identifier and email address. We store account identifiers, verified Apple subscription product and transaction identifiers, entitlement dates and status, and AI request, credit, delivery, error and usage records. The owner account email is retained to verify administrator access. Apple processes payments; we do not receive payment card details.

Generated images and shared projects

Generated AI images are stored on our service and associated with your account for retrieval. If you create a production sharing link or VR presentation, the selected project snapshot, dimensions, components, room geometry and, for production plans, project name are uploaded and stored. Anyone with the sharing link, QR code or presentation code can access that shared content. Avoid including confidential information in shared projects.

Technical and usage information

Our hosting, infrastructure, and security providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. This can include an IP address, device or browser type, app version, request date and time, requested route, and diagnostic, security, error, or performance information. We do not use this information for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.

Support communications

If you contact us, we process your email address and the content and attachments you choose to send so we can respond and resolve your request.

How we use information

• Provide the kitchen design, room analysis, rendering, saving, sharing, and export features you request.
• Generate AI-assisted measurements and visualizations when you choose those tools.
• Operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the App, including monitoring AI generation usage, credit balances, delivery status and service costs.
• Respond to support requests and communicate about service issues.
• Comply with applicable law and protect users, our rights, and the service.

Service providers and sharing

We disclose information only as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

• OpenAI. Optional AI inputs and outputs are processed through the OpenAI API. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the API customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, unless longer retention is legally required or necessary to prevent harm. Room-analysis requests use the Responses API, which also stores application state for at least 30 days by default. These provider retention periods are separate from images and records stored by our own service. See OpenAI’s current API data controls.
• Cloudflare and hosting, infrastructure, and security providers.These providers process technical data and service requests to host, deliver, secure, and maintain the App.
• Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, safety, or the service.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and the App does not use third-party advertising trackers.

Camera, photos, and room scanning

The App requests access to the camera or photo library only when you choose a feature that needs a photo. You control which images are selected. If RoomPlan or LiDAR room scanning is available on your device, room geometry is processed on the device and remains local unless you choose to export, share, or use it with an online AI feature. You can change camera and photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Retention and deletion

Project information saved locally remains on your device until you delete the project, clear the App’s local data, or remove the App. Our online services retain account-linked subscription records, AI generation and credit records, and generated images so you can retrieve results and we can administer access. Shared production plans and VR presentations remain available through their links or codes. These records do not currently have an automatic expiration in the App. You may contact us to request deletion of information we control. Providers may retain additional data according to their service terms, security needs, and legal obligations. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, keep appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations.

Your privacy choices

• Use the core design tools without using the optional AI features.
• Decline or revoke camera and photo-library permission in iOS Settings.
• Delete saved projects or remove the App to erase locally stored information.
• Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we control, subject to applicable law.

Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is no advertising-sale or tracking opt-out required for the App.

Children

The App is a professional design tool and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we received personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
